LAHORE: Punjab government has sent invitation letters to civil and military leadership to watch the Pakistan Super League (PSL) final in Qaddafi Stadium.
Sources said that two helicopters were also approved for aerial surveillance of the area.
Under the directives of Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif, invitation cards have been dispatched to civil and military leadership in connection with the final match taking place on March 5. They have also been informed that cigarettes, mobiles, batteries and lighters will not be allowed to be brought in the stadium.
On the other hand, Awami Muslim League Chief Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad has purchased general ticket worth Rs 500 to watch the final while the PSL administration assured him that he would watch the match by sitting in VIP enclave.
Meanwhile, ex Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf (PTI) leader Makhdoom Javed Hashmi also got online ticket for PSL final match.
