ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) has decided to hold a meeting with stakeholders after receiving a large number of complaints from viewers on the deteriorating standards of the TV dramas, commercials and morning shows being shown on private channels.
Keeping these issues in mind, PEMRA is holding a consultative meeting with relevant stakeholders, namely, Pakistan Broadcasters Association (PBA), representatives of the private TV Channels on Thursday, March 16th, 2017.
As per press release, PEMRA looks forward to discussing the issues in detail to bring improvement in the quality and standards of the TV programs.
